CCHR Meddling in Politics

Kem Sokha has always been an ambitious politician. He had switched party several times. He still harbors political ambitions though he claims to be involved in human rights activities only. His NGO, the CCHR, is funded by the IRI, which itself is known the world over for its interference in domestic politics of various countries and its crazed attempts at regime change. Now Kem Sokha, is traveling around the country, often accompanied by the IRI country representative for Cambodia, advocating regime change in numerous forms, rather than advocating human rights development. It is a pity that instead of focusing on real issues such as human rights development and promoting a better understanding of democracy, especially that there is always a winner in an election, the IRI and the CCHR are embarking on seditious attempts at regime change. Kem Sokha's NGO is existing virtually on IRI funds. The world and Cambodians are alarmed at the IRI and the NDI's distracted yet strong-armed meddling into Cambodia's domestic affairs. The CCHR is a tool of Cambodia's demagogic politician, Sam Rainsy, and it s trying to overthrow Cambodia's elected government. The SRP, in turn is a pawn used by the IRI and the NDI to wreck havoc on the country and bring instability in the name of regime change. One operates under the guise of a political party. The other three operate under the guise of Non Governmental Organizations. Together, they motive is crystal clear – topple the democratically elected government and institutions in Cambodia and bring instability on all fronts.

China Relations

The world recognizes China’s growing economic power in the world market. Virtually every country in the world, including Taiwan is scrambling to do business in or with  China. Everyone has recognized that co-existence,

recognition and constructive trade engagement with China is the way to follow in the global economy. As such, it is odd that a web based news organization supported by the SRP, is harping on Cambodia’s involvement with China. China has provided numerous grants and aid to Cambodia and its monarch, especially vital medical care. Unlike Sam Rainsy, who courts the Taiwanese openly, the Cambodian Government is committed to the ‘One China’ policy. Cambodia, being a small nation, cannot afford to practice any kind of ‘Isolation of   China’ policy as this is not the way to contain China. Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Government know this. The world knows this. It is  astonishing that Sam Rainsy has a different perspective on the China policy which is contrary to what the world at large subscribe to.
